Thailand Trip: Pray Project

My friend and I are women in our late 20's.   At this point we are at a crossroads on following the path that was set for us and following the one that's in our hearts.  So this trip was just more of a sight-seeing venture.  It was more of a spiritual journey on rediscovering oneself.  And getting ourselves back whole.

Bloopers In Bangkok: Communicating with Cab Drivers

Have you experienced trying to communicate with someone but both of you couldn't understand each other?

The feeling is really heart-wrenching sometimes.

3-Hour Ride and The Pits from Hell

Have you experienced being stuck in a van with someone suffering from bad smelling pits?

Well I had.  And to make matters worst, I had to be in that same god-forsaken van for 3 long hours, from Poipet going to Bangkok.

It was terrible.

Bloopers In Bangkok: Coin in the Airport Rail Link

A woman coming from a 3rd world country, into a more develop 3rd world country, I've had to encounter high tech devices that haven't existed back in my place.  So bloopers await me.

First thing was the coin thing they have in the train station.  In Manila we have the card to get us passed the station.  It's also true in thailand, but in the Airport rail link they're using a coin.  You know the one you sometimes see in casinos.

Thailand Trip: Eat Project

I've known that Thailand is one of the country which is known for one deadly sin: Gluttony.  Which makes sense that food here should taste awesome and cheap.  Lots of street food with cheap price and good taste.

Our first encounter with authentic Thai food was the moment we got there.  It was evening, raining, and my friend and I were both hungry and really tired.  We just wanted to settle in.  We were both blessed to have Sir Ray with us.

Indochina Trip: Everything I Wanted and More

Going to the trip, I was hoping to get what I've been planning to get.  But never have I expected to be coming home more than I've ever been wanting to have.

Needless to say, my cup now is overflowing.

Funny how a week long trip could change someone for the better.  I can say I had.  I feel so good I want to just jump. hahaha

And for that lemme do my own twisted version of the Gangnam dance for you.

video

My apologies for my lousy dance.  Our tour around Angkor Wat was coming to an end, and I was just happy but so tired yet I wanted to do something crazy.

And so that was what happened.

Words cannot explain how ecstatic I am.  So I'll just leave it with this.

:)

Salesladies are Crazy.

Being in the city makes malls the only place to go to find happiness.  Well of course that's not true, but at some point it is.

I don't know with you, but I go straight to the department store.  Why? well one, they sell cheaper items.   Oh well, actually that's the only reason I could think of right now.  With the trip fast approaching, I really don't have any budget to splurge.

Besides, department store salesladies are less aggressive than the ones in stores.  But anyways all sales ladies are alike.  They could get pretty pushy.  I especially don't like it when they start to follow you like they become your "shadow".

Baby I Know.

Have you ever had the time that you lost your way in the city and the only recourse you have to get to your destination is to ask?  Plenty of times, I suppose.

Adventure turned to Misadventure

They say that adventures should be found in really small, trivial things. Doesn't have to cost you money, doesn't need for you to hop in the plane, train, boat, and what not.  No.  Adventure could be in the form of eating food you haven't tasted for quite some time, taking on a different route going to work; banal stuff like that is already an adventure, and the only reason that we don't notice it is that we have already a definition of what an "adventure" is.
